You know that feeling you get when you discover a new artist, or see some new art for the first time that you can really connect with. If you're like me you're palms get sweaty, your mind starts to raise, you're heart rate jumps through the roof and your eyes get a little blurry from darting around. Well that just happened when i stumbled upon Matt Lifson's paintings.

Matt Lifson is a painter's painter. His use of color, obvious ability to draw, amazing composition, and bizarrely intriguing concepts all work harmoniously.

i really enjoy Matt Lifson's paintings. i enjoy everything about them. These paintings make me want to go to the studio and start painting now, like right now.
