I haven't been to the studio as much as id like to lately, to just paint, that is. when i did make it to the studio i would be working on other projects, more about that at a later date. check out meat market for updates and general awesomeness. BRILLS!
Either way, when i did have time to paint it was always smaller paintings. I haven't been able to get into a large painting for some time. Well last night i decided to paint over some old paintings, which is always scary, and fun, and nerve wracking.
Either way, it wasn't fun till the last hour or so, actually at one point i thought about quitting making art all together. But, i decided that was the worst idea i could ever have and kept painting. And then all of a sudden things started to "click" and i started to discover new things in the painting. It took almost all night to get to the point where painting wasn't a chore, that's the moment i love. Its that fleeting moment that doesn't always produce great results, but just feels great, that moment is the reason i love to paint.
