Night Time Photography of Minneapolis
I went and took some photos of the city last night. It was a fun little adventure on a Friday night. I plan on doing this more. It is a nice way to get to know the city and see it in a new way. I did get stuck in a real nasty storm on the way home though. It hasn't rained that hard in a while and i was soaked to the bone. #worthit

there was another snow storm in minneapolis over the weekend. terese and i went for a walk on sunday when things started to get bad. we walked a loop around the neighborhood and took some photos. here are mine.

Why We're Here: Twin Cities
This short film touches on a lot of the key reasons as to why one would call the twin cities home. I was born and raised 15 minutes south of the twin cities and moved to minneapolis a few years back. i love it here and although id like to move away some day, to experience the world, im sure that minneapolis will always be my home.
With all the possibilities around the world, what is the “it” that keeps people here in the Twin Cities? We suspected the answer to the question "Why We're Here" was both simple and incredibly nuanced -- worthy of art. We took our camera to the streets of Minneapolis and St. Paul to find people willing to talk, unscripted, on film. The result is our collective love poem to the Twin Cities.
Why We're Here: Twin Cities is a six-minute film that explores what unites us, and unites us here, in the Twin Cities. Filmed on location the spring and summer of 2010 in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, the film features an original score by John Munson of the New Standards, the Twilight Hours, Semisonic and Trip Shakespeare.

Rainy Day Pics
Yesterday there was a pretty crazy thunderstorm here in Minneapolis. i was working at the time but i did manage to snap a few photos of the rain. Lake street was under about a 12-18 inches of water, it was like a lake, on Lake ST.
