Oscar was a gift from Aaron, also a APT4LIFE resident, to Juri for Christmas in 2009. Juri named it Oscar after the baby in The Hangover, i always called it scarface and Loginov is Juri's last name. So: Oscar "Scarface" Loginov.
Of all the things that Juri left Oscar is my favorite. I LOVE plants and this one is amazing! it grows so fast it blows my mind. When Aaron gave it to Juri it was maybe 8inches tall.
I told Juri when he left that id take good care of it for him, and i have, i know this plant means alot to him. Oscar is very important to me and maybe my favorite possession in the house. It represents many layes of friendship and even though Juri is across the pond it reminds me daily of my good good friend.
Oscar has outgrown his pot and today i gave him a new home. Oscar is like Juri in that he is getting a new home. Juri lived here for 10 years but moved back to Europe, Oscar outgrew his pot and has relocated to a bigger one.
People move, grow up, and things change. But its the small things in life that make me happy, like a plant named Oscar "Scarface" Loginov.
